Slack integration

Slack integration (optional, enabled by your organization)
When your organization installs the KS-Agents Slack app, the following data flows occur:

• Workspace metadata: We store your Slack workspace ID, workspace name, the Slack user IDs of installers, the granted OAuth scopes, and the bot user token. These are encrypted at rest and used solely to deliver notifications and conduct interviews you have been invited to.
• Notifications: We send invitations and reminders as direct messages from the KS-Agents bot to the recipient identified by their KS-Agents email. Public announcements (e.g. campaign launches) may be posted to a channel chosen by your administrator.
• In-Slack interviews: If your administrator enables in-Slack completion of an interview, the messages you exchange with the KS-Agents bot in that direct-message conversation are read by the AI agent in order to generate the next question. Direct messages received outside an active interview session are ignored. We do not access messages in any other channel, group, or direct message thread.
• Transcripts: Interview transcripts are stored against your interview record under the same retention rules as web-based interviews. Voice messages, if used, are transcribed to text and the original audio file is not retained.
• Uninstallation: When the Slack app is removed from your workspace, the bot token and workspace metadata are immediately erased. Interview transcripts already created remain subject to the standard retention policy.
